Two Jobless Claims

Two indicators of China's economic well-being -- the registered unemployment rate and a jobless rate according to an official survey -- paint different pictures. The first one has hovered around 4 percent in the past eight years and lost credibility to the public while the survey has been under development for the past six years and will be publicly released in 2011.
